ISKCON Temple in Kanpur

It took years for His Grace Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder Acharya of ISKCON, the  management of ISKCON Temple Kanpur or Sri Sri Radha Madhav Temple and the devotees to bring the temple to this stage. In 2005, a row house was taken on rent to start an ISKCON centre in Kanpur under the guidance of Swami Prabhupada.

In the same year the centre acquired a land of five acres which was donated by Mrs. Bina Bhatnagar. Utsav murtis of Lord Madhav and Radhaji were brought here in 2007.

A few devotees were also moved here. They really worked hard for the centre. Gradually with the help of wellwishers, the ISKCON Centre in Kanpur had acquired nearly 12 acres of land. In 2009, on the day of Vasant Panchami, idols of Lord Madhav and Radhaji were installed and worshipped.
